Record Management
The Record Management product from Yos offers an integrated solution to manage medical records generated in the OPD and IPD.
Out-Patient Record Management :
The Record Management software allows for storage and retrieval of all outpatient records of the hospitals.
Key features:
- Non-template based, Adaptive EMR: Most EMRs come with a template approach requiring doctor's practise to align itself with the software which is a sure recipe for failure. Yos follows a non-template based, adaptive approach to aligning the software to the doctor's practise, enhancing the possibilities of adoption. The software has understanding of various specialties like OBG, Oncology, Cardiology and more
- Intelligent Learning: EMR also has the ability to learn about different aspects of doctor's practise like prescribed medicines, tests, treatment plans and more
- Tracking and Monitoring Tools: Includes tools for Critical Parameter Graphing and Reporting, Goal Setting and Management, Treatment Calendar Tracking and management
- Reports: Clinical Reports to understand health/treatment trends
- History Capture: Health History Capture with junior doctor/nurse
- Advanced tools: Medicine Interaction Alerts and more
- Access Control: Role-based access control (admin, doctor, nurse, etc) as well as levels of access for each role
Other Features:
The solution also includes a Smart Health Card, which acts as the Hospital ID Card and enables storage of critical health information, as well as select hospital information for ready access during emergencies.
Deployment Model:
There are various options available for hospitals:
- Pure EMR or Hybrid EMR: Hospitals can either choose to maintain detailed electronic data or partial electronic supported with supporting records scanned into the software.
- Doctor-used or Transcription support: Since most doctors prefer to use paper, Yos offers the option to either enable doctors to use the software or allow them to continue writing on paper with a medical transcriptionist taking care of the data entry process post-facto. Yos can also bundle the transcription service as part of the solution it provides to hospitals.
- Remote or Local Installation: Yos offers the flexibility of remote installation in our secure data centre, eliminating cost of hardware infrastructure required and eliminating need for internal IT folks to maintain and run the application. However, hospitals that have the required support staff and are willing to invest in the hardware required can choose the local installation option. Even with the local installation option, initial cost of hardware is minimal.
In-Patient Record Management :
The Record Management product from Yos also enables storage and retrieval of in-patient files that are required to be maintained by hospitals for many years from a legal stand-point.
Key features:
- Smart Health Card, which acts as the Hospital ID Card and enables storage of critical health information, as well as discharge summary information for ready access when needed
- File storage: In-patient files are linked to the Smart Health Card of the patient.
- File retrieval: The software allows categorization of patients into different types like death, MLC etc along with tagging individual case sheets into different types like doctor's notes etc for easy retrieval
- Access Control: Role based access control with Doctor/MRD workflow for file retrieval
- Reports: The software also generates various MIS reports for use by the administrators.
Deployment Model:
The above solutions are complementary to existing Hospital Management Systems and can be integrated with the registration/lab modules of the HMS.
Yos also takes care of the complete scan process as part of the offering reducing operational overheads for the hospital.
Business Model:
Yos offers these solutions with a UNIQUE "Pay-as-you-use" model making it more feasible for hospitals to adopt the solutions.
