In the recent past, Healthcare has become one of the largest growing industries with average spending on healthcare increasing by more than 50% in the last 5 years. The Healthcare Industry has a large number of players - Hospitals, Doctors, Diagnostic chains, Pharmacies, Insurance companies, Third Party Administrators, Pharmaceutical companies – who offer various health care services to the consumer. Currently, most providers operate in stand-alone mode, and do not have any standard mechanism for sharing critical healthcare information between them. This has been a concern area for both the consumers and providers, since a poorly connected ecosystem hampers operational efficiency and quality of care, and hence customer satisfaction and retention.
Also emergence of new business drivers like Medical tourism, Preventive HealthCare, etc have compelled providers to look at ways and means of improving their infrastructure to offer cost-effective healthcare to their customers.
At the same time, consumers have also started to assert the right to have more control on their own health through better access to healthcare information and improved communication channels with the healthcare providers. Better informed patients, in the long run, are likely to push for higher quality care that is delivered as economically as possible, and the providers need to gear up for this.
Yos Technologies was founded in 2006 by a team of technologist-entrepreneurs with the aim of mitigating the issues faced by both consumers and providers in the Healthcare industry, through an innovative “merger” of IT / Communication technologies and Healthcare services.

The team has varied experience ranging from capital raising, business planning and marketing to product architecture, development, delivery and support. More important, all have been part of a previous successful start-up, and know what it takes to grow an idea into a successful revenue earning company.

Vijaya Verma is a technologist and entrepreneur, with a total work experience of 24 years in the IT industry. Her experience spans technical design, market and business development, capital raising and technology evangelization, and her forte is building products, teams and companies from scratch.
Prior to founding Yos Technologies, she was the founder and chief force behind Alopa Networks, one of the earliest companies providing end to end OSS product solutions in the broadband space. Alopa was founded in 1999, and Vijaya was responsible for capital raising, business planning and

also providing technology vision and strategic directions to the company. Alopa became one of the top three broadband OSS vendors within 3 years, and its flagship product has over 50 customers across the globe. |
Earlier, as a General Manager in Wipro, Vijaya was the head of the Product Division, handling technical, marketing and financial planning for CyberManage, a unique Java based web-based network management product, which was successfully marketed and sold world-wide.
Vijaya holds a Masters Degree in Computer Communications from IIT Bombay, and a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communications from MS University, Baroda.

Vice-President, Product Engineering :

Suri has over 16 years of senior level experience in software product definition, architecture, design, and engineering management. His expertise spans Compilers, Operations Support Systems (Service Provisioning, Assurance, billing integration), Network Management and Web technologies for companies such as Wipro, Intel, UB networks and Alopa Networks.
Prior to co-founding Yos Technologies, Suri was Senior Director of Engineering in Alopa Networks, handling all of Alopa’s workflow and provisioning products.His responsibilities included product definition, requirements analysis, technical architecture

and design specifications.
Earlier in Wipro, he handled design and development of CyberManage, a web based Network Management product, as well as various network management software projects for multiple overseas clients.
Suri holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from IIT, Bombay and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Vishwesharaiya College of Engineering, Bangalore. |

Senior Director, Solutions Engineering :

Mani has more than 15 years of design and development experience in broadband OSS products, Network protocols, Network management and Embedded Software in companies including OMC computers, Future Software, Wipro and Alopa Networks.
Prior to co-founding Yos Technologies, Mani was Senior Technical Director in Alopa, where he was directly responsible for delivery of Alopa’s workflow and provisioning products.
He held overall responsibility for schedule planning, product |
delivery and release and also handled post-sales support of the products.

Earlier, in Wipro, he handled the development and delivery of various embedded software products for multiple clients in the Asia-Pac region.
Mani has an ME in Electronics from MIT Madras, and a BE in Engineering (Electronics and Communication) from ACCET, University of Madurai-Kamaraj.

Hari has over 13 years of senior level experience in software product architecture, design, and implementation in the OSS and Network Device Management domains.
Prior to co-founding Yos Technologies, Hari was the Principal Architect in Alopa Networks, and played a key role in the architecture, design and development of Alopa’s products. Earlier, he handled techno-marketing functions for Wipro in the Asia-Pac region, which involved developing and demonstrating various proof-of-concept

prototypes to assist marketing / sales.
Hari has an ME in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and a BE in Computer. Science, from the University of Madras.

Nagesh has over 9 years experience in the IT &
ITES industries. Prior to Yos
Technologies, Nagesh was a Program Manager at
Tech Mahindra where he setup a Business Unit for
a networking major. He was responsible for
strategic Marketing, Business Development and
Operations including recruitment, people
management, process management.
Prior to Tech Mahindra, he was a System
Architect with Alopa Networks, where he played a
key role in architecture, design and
implementation of Alopa's
products. |
He was also involved
in techno-marketing functions in the US region. Before Alopa,
he was a Software engineer in Wipro Technologies developing protocol stacks for Telecom domain.
Nagesh has a BE in Information Science and holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. His interests include music and sports.

Rajesh Jain is a well-known entrepreneur and
technologist. He founded IndiaWorld in 1995,
which from its pioneering start, has grown
to be one of the largest collection of
India-centric websites, comprising Samachar,
Khel, Khoj and Bawarchi. IndiaWorld was
acquired by Satyam Infoway in November 1999
for US$ 115 million in one of Asia's largest
Internet deals.
His current
work and investments are focused around thin
clients and mobiles as "teleputers",
service-based computing,

multimedia /
broadband / wireless world, two-way web,
with emerging markets like India as first
markets. He is currently Managing Director
at Netcore Solutions Pvt Ltd, a software
company based in Mumbai, India.
Prior to founding IndiaWorld, he worked at NYNEX Science and Technology for 2 years before returning to India in 1992.

Dr. Aniruddha Malpani is a leading consultant infertility specialist and practices with his wife, Dr. Anjali Malpani, in Mumbai, India.
